M. A. CENTER GIVES MEDICAL SUPPLIES TO ROSSMOOR C.E.R.T.
What a joy to introduce the logistics and medical volunteer leadership of Rossmoor CERT to Lela, Shuba and The AIMS Project. The AIMS Project of the M. A. Center has been receiving, inventorying, warehousing and distributing free medical supplies to it’s charitable hospitals in India for almost 20 years. Excess supplies are given to local and regional charities.
The M. A. Center and CERT (Community Emergency Response Team) are in the Contra Costa County Emergency Network. The M. A. Center has been host to many CERT trainings at the center on Crow Canyon Road near San Ramon. They can donate medical supplies to volunteer neighborhood CERT groups for their disaster cashes.
If your Contra Costa CERT needs medical supplies for their disaster caches, contact Leena or the M. A. Center. Volunteers are always welcome and needed on Saturdays and Wednesdays. To learn more about the global charitable network of the M. A. Center, go to http://embracingtheworld.org.
If you have not taken CERT, do it! Namaste. Leena
